Imperial Fists Terminator Squad and Ballistus Dreadnought.
My latest project and one that I had a great time painting. The Imperial Fists have always been my favourite Space Marine Chapter, and their signature yellow armour is never easy to get right. Despite the challenge, they're always incredibly rewarding to paint, and I'm really pleased with how these came together.
The Empire - Warhammer the Old Worlds
Empire of Man – Reikland Scheme
This has been my favourite painting project to date. I've always loved the classic Reikland colour scheme, and while white can be just as challenging to paint as yellow. The white State Troops really pop and give the army a striking presence on the battlefield.
This was also the first project where I incorporated custom decals to name unit leaders and special characters. It's a service I offer, I feel it adds a great deal of personality and narrative depth to an army, helping to create a more immersive and thematic force.
Astra Miliatarum - Warhammer 40k
Cadian Combined Arms – 2,000 Point Army
This was a huge undertaking and one of the largest projects I've completed. Like any true Astra Militarum force, it's packed with Guardsmen and military hardware.
The army features 50 infantry models alongside seven tanks, including the impressive resin Macharius Vanquisher, which was a real highlight of the project. Balancing the large infantry count with the armoured elements made this a rewarding and visually striking force to bring together.
If you're looking to commission an army with ranks of infantry supported by powerful tanks, this project is a great example of what's possible.
Kharadron Overlords - Warhammer Age of Sigmar
Kharadron Overlords Fleet
This project marked my first venture into Age of Sigmar and provided a change from the paint schemes I typically work with. The fleet features rich metallic tones with a satin finish, complemented by crisp snowy bases that help the models unique aesthetic stand out.
Its also a great example of tailoring a build to suit the needs of the project. Rather than using the standard flight stand supplied with the kit, I opted for a stronger magnetic stand, creating a more durable and practical solution.
Gondor -
Middle-Earth Strategy Battle Game
Gondor & Ithilien Rangers
This was one of my first major projects in the Middle-earth Strategy Battle Game and remains one of my favourites.
With 1,000 points of Gondor's finest, the project features a large number of infantry models and captures the heroic feel of Middle-earth battles. Seeing the ranks of warriors assembled together on the table at Warhammer World made this a particularly rewarding army to complete.
